Team History
-2010: This was our first year in FIRST. At this time we were in FIRST Lego league. That year we got first place for robot performance and first in programming. We then made it to state and got sixth place overall and second in programming.
-2011: This was our second year as a FIRST LEGO League team. This year we got first place overall and first in programming, research, and teamwork. We also got second in performance and design. We made it to state and got seventh place overall, second place in programming, and third place in research and teamwork.
-2012: This was our third year as a FIRST LEGO League team. This year we won state, after getting second place at regionals. We went to San Diego California to compete in the North American Open. We did not get an award, but we had call backs in everything except core values, suggesting our work caught the attention of the judges.
-2013: This was our fourth year as a FIRST Lego league team. This year we got first place in regionals and in state. Due to the fact that we got first in state we went to the world festival competition. Though we did not get our exact placing we got callbacks for all the robot aspects and estimate we were in the top twenty. We also got 19th for the robot game.
-2014: This was our first year as a FTC team. We competed in two regional events. We received the inspire award at our first competition and at our second tournament we received the Stratasys Award, the design award, and the finalist alliance award. We also competed at the state tournament receiving the second place inspire award and first in robot qualifying rounds. We moved on and competed at the northern super-regionals. We had a ton of fun and can't wait for the next season to start!
-2015: This was our second year as an FTC team. We did very well in the challenge, Cascade Effect, making it all the way to the World Festival. At state we won the first place Inspire Award, and we were also the winning alliance captain. At super-regionals we received the third place connect award. At the World Festival we met many other teams and had a great time.
-2016: This year's challenge is Res-Q. We advanced to the World Festival competition and placed tenth in our division. We were also nominated for the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award.
